Chubby Shark Playroom is almost ready to open its doors — and we are looking for amazing people to join our team! If you are friendly, outgoing, and genuinely love being around kids, we want to hear from you. We are hiring now ahead of our Soft Opening on June 6, 2026 at 446 Lancaster Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355.

Who We Are Looking For

At Chubby Shark Playroom, our team is the heart of the experience. The most important qualities we are looking for are simple: be friendly, be outgoing, and love being with kids. Everything else can be taught — but genuine warmth and enthusiasm for families are what make Chubby Shark special.

Position 1: Store Manager 👑

We are hiring one full-time Store Manager at approximately 35 hours per week. As Store Manager, you will be the face of Chubby Shark Playroom — welcoming families, managing daily session check-ins, coordinating birthday parties, supervising part-time staff, communicating with vendors, and reporting directly to the owner. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fun, fast-paced, family-first environment.

Compensation: $20 per hour, W-2 employee. University students are warmly encouraged to apply.

Position 2: Playroom Staff 📣

We are hiring multiple part-time Playroom Staff members for flexible shifts including weekends. You will supervise the play floor during open play sessions, keep every child safe and happy, assist with birthday party setups and cleanups, check in guests at the front desk, and help create a magical atmosphere for every family who visits. No prior professional experience required — if you have a natural love of kids and a can-do attitude, you are exactly who we are looking for.

Compensation: $12 to $15 per hour depending on experience, W-2 employee. Multiple positions available. Great for students and part-time job seekers.
